What Turbo?
If your turbo is on its way out then you might not know which one to buy. This guide from BTN Turbos might come in handy. BTN can also supply identical replacement turbos [here http://www.btnturbo.com], but the prices can be astronomical so a cheaper OEM-spec alternative from eBay etc. is probably a better bet.
Apparently our MY98 would take a Mitsubishi TD-04 turbo, which is kind of ironic seeing as they make the Lan EVO, but wouldn't have this turbo anywhere near it.
